Ahead of Perth Test, Virat Kohli’s lengthy social media post leaves fans puzzled

Virat Kohli gave a section of fans ‘a mini heart attack’ on Tuesday with a lengthy social media post, just two days before the much-anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy. While Kohli penned a heartfelt note celebrating a decade-long journey with his men’s clothing brand, the opening lines left fans speculating.
Many fans noted that Kohli had previously used a similar post template on social media when announcing important personal and career updates, including the decision to retire from Test captaincy in 2022. Understandably, they were relieved to find that the post had nothing to do with his cricketing career and was instead about his brand.
Border-Gavaskar Trophy: Full Coverage
Here’s the post that had fans guessing on Tuesday.
Looking back, we’ve always been a bit different.
We never fitted into any box they tried putting us in.
Two misfits, who just clicked.
We’ve changed over the years, but always done things our way.
Some called us crazy; others didn’t get it.
But honestly? We didn’t care.
We were busy figuring out who we are.
Ten years of ups and downs, and even the pandemic couldn’t shake us.
If anything, it reminded us — being different is our strength.
So here’s to ten years of doing it our way — the Wrogn way.
Here’s to being Wrogn.
And here’s to the next ten!
Wrogn: For the right kind of man.
Some of the fans urged Virat Kohli to stop posting wth a ‘white background and black font’ with another saying she thought of five different scenarios while reading the first few lines.

As expected, Virat Kohli has been a focal point. In an unprecedented move, a group of Australian newspapers released a special issue featuring Kohli on the cover, highlighting the immense popularity of the former India captain. Although he is no longer India’s skipper, promotional campaigns in Australia have positioned Kohli as the face of the visiting team.
Despite poor form, Kohli will take confidence from his strong record in Australia, where he has amassed 1,353 runs, including six centuries, in 13 matches at an average of 54. He also has fond memories of the Optus Stadium, where he scored a century in 2018 — the last time India played there.
